'Live at the Library' workshops are the perfect incursion for your class, providing your students with opportunities to explore extraordinary items from State Library's heritage collections and learn research strategies that will help them excel in their assessments.
Research Strategies (Years 10 – 12)
State Library's interactive 'Research Strategies' workshops give your students an opportunity to ask questions and gain specific advice for completing their research assessment for the unit you are teaching. You students will learn:
- how to access and navigate our catalogue, databases and news archives to find high quality academic sources
- practical search strategies like how to use strategic keywords and filters to find a variety of perspectives
- strategies for critically analysing and selecting sources

Date: Monday – Friday (during school terms)
Time: You nominate a 50-minute time slot for your workshop
